Alba Fernández Arias is an architect and founder of Espazo A Maceta, a creative and innovation hub in Muros (Galicia) where culture, entrepreneurship, and sustainability come together to strengthen local communities. With an international career in architecture, heritage regeneration, and sustainable design, she returned to her hometown to reimagine how creativity and collaboration can drive rural development and community regeneration.
Drawing on participatory methodologies, cultural innovation, and creative entrepreneurship, she designs and leads initiatives that empower women, activate rural territories, and foster collaboration between local communities and European networks. Her work explores how creativity can become a driver for regeneration, resilience, and meaningful social change.
