Anna sees culture as a practice and creativity as both an expression of personal needs and a response to them. With a degree in Information Design, studies in Art History, and over a decade of experience in the arts and creative industries, she has worked at the intersection of established cultural institutions and grassroots initiatives. After contributing to institutions such as MAK, mumok, Vienna Design Week, and neunerhaus in Vienna, she returned to South Tyrol in 2022, where she has worked with Museion, BASIS Vinschgau Venosta, Allianz der Kultur, Museion Art Club, and Cultura Libera Freie Kultur, alongside her independent practice. As an independent cultural manager and communication strategist, she works as an external Project Curator for BASIS and represents the organization on its board. A self-described militant crocheter and fiber activist, she advocates for the social and political potential of craft, encouraging everyone to embrace and share their creativity—regardless of skill level. Interested in simple subversive practices and sociopolitical cultural expression, she is an untangler of the tangible.
