Oscar Diaz is a Mexican architect working at the intersection of sustainable design, STEAM education, circular making, and community-led innovation. He has over a decade of experience in FabLab management and training within the global Fab Lab Network and currently serves as Education and Operations Manager at Creative Spark in Dundalk, Ireland, where he manages the Enterprise FabLab and Mobile FabLab, develops innovative learning programmes, and coordinates EU-funded collaborations.

He co-founded Fab Lab Yucatán (2016), the first digital fabrication facility in Yucatán, and Fab City Yucatán (2019), localising the Fab City initiative for climate action and regenerative urban futures. As a local instructor, he has facilitated Fab Academy and Fabricademy Diplomas across Mexico and Ireland and co-organised the Fabricademy International Bootcamp in Ireland in 2026. His work has been recognised with a FabLat Kids Scholarship (2017), the Chevron STEM Education Award (2019), an honourable mention in the 2024 Chevron STEM Fellowship, and selection for the Architects in Schools Programme and ECSA Citizen Science Ambassador Programme (2023–2025).
