Selin Anzerlioğlu is an Industrial Design Intern at BioLab Lisboa. She recently graduated from Özyeğin University with a BSc in Industrial Design and a minor in Communication Design. During two years at OPENFAB ÖzÜ, she contributed to interdisciplinary projects involving biomaterials, digital fabrication, AI-supported design, and workshop development, while supporting collaborations with stuDesigners, Türkiye’s nationwide industrial design student community.
Her material-driven practice begins by exploring materials through experimentation and translating these findings into products, workshops, and collaborative design experiences. Her work combines material research, prototyping, and hands-on learning within an iterative design process. It has been presented at the ACM CHI Conference 2026 in Barcelona and exhibited at Milan Design Week. She is currently developing a bio-based material project under patent application while continuing to explore material innovation, circular design, and open knowledge sharing.
