Matthaios Tsimitakis is an experienced digital communication strategist and journalist with over two decades of expertise at the intersection of media, technology, and governance. He holds an MA in the anthropology of media from SOAS, University of London. From 2016 to 2019, Matthaios served as the special advisor to the prime minister of Greece on digital communication, where he designed high-level online strategies, managed international digital diplomacy, and directed crisis communication campaigns during major national events.. His op-eds and reported analyses on the Greek crisis and global current affairs have been featured in premier global outlets, including The New York Times, Al Jazeera, BBC, Deutsche Welle, and Vice. He is currently the Managing Editor of Creatives Unite, developing its editorial agenda.
